First of all, I would like say that I was insanly bored last night, that was after I watched my Pittsburgh Steelers go all the way to the Superbowl!(YAY!) ahem...anyways..I was watching the Disney Channel(yes mellon-nins I do watch the Disney Channel*hangs head in shame), I was bored, so Im watching and this movie comes on called High School Musical. Im like well, it cant be too bad..Well pardon me, it was that bad. Not the people couldnt sing, caus they could, very talented, although the guy had kinda nasaly<sp?> voice...It was way too Sueish..Basically heres the entire plot:
GaryStu star (aka TEH HAWT!OMG!) BB player is on vacation with his parents(who are insanly rich, apparently they pay high school bb coachs alot of money), goes to this New Years Party, and meets Sue. They sing a song, and then they fall in twu wuv(thats right twu wuv in all of five minutes). Stu goes back home, and goes to school where OMG!TEH Sue goes there too!(just transfered, *gags, I see where those HPTransferSues! come from). Shes supersmart, and pretty ect ect..She wants to try out for the high school musical, but she wont unless Gary Stu tries out with her.But Gary Stus dad(who just happens to be said high school BB coach), wants him to play basketball, cause hes OMG!TEHSTARR!!,a nd then Gary Stus fwiends, dont want him to try out for said musical, b/c hes TEH OMG! STARR!!...so Gary Stu says a bunch really nasty things, like oh he doesnt care about said Sue, he just wants to play basketball and win the championship in two weeks..Sue finds out, Wangsts about in stupid song about:oh I thoought you were my fairytale, Im like OMG!WTFBBQ!!! how can you, you barely know the guy, and youre already wangsting about not being his tww wuv, even though he is going to be her twu wuv in the end..then the Sue decides that she should just be OMG!TEH SMART!, instead of OMG! TEH AMERICAN IDOL!!LOL! They both send an enourmous amount of time Wangsting , then he comes over to her house and appologizes, cause shes OMG!TEHSPESHUL!...But of course thats not all.Theres this brother and sister who have been in every freakin school production, and they dont want SUE and Stu to try out for school musical. and they plan two have The auditions for the school musical,on the same day as the championship bb game and the Sues brainac compettion.OH NO! LYKE whats going @ happen!OMG!..Well somehow I dont know how, the Sue brainiac fwiends hack into the computer system in the schools gymn(where the championship is going to be played how covienant), and then they somehow create some chemical something or other to dissrupt the brainacs competition, and everyone ends up in the gymn just in time to here Gary Stu and Mary Sue sing theyre love-dovey OMG!TEH SPESHUL! audtion song, and everyone loves them, cause OMG!LOL!!..Then they both make the leads said high school musical,a nd Sue wins her competion and Stu wins his game.like OMG!,a nd this is the part that infruiates me..thers this girl(classic shes pretty but wears glasses, and all she needs is a OMG! makeover and shell be OMG TEH PWEETTY!!), whos OMG! TEH common!, who finds TEH HAWT guy likes her, once she takes off her glasses, and lets her hair down...*gags...See this is where all those MAKEOVER HERMOINE! fics come from...
*goes off to spork her eyes out...

| I have just seen the best movie of the year by far. The Chronicles Of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was everything I had hoped for. Now granted I have read all the books, I saw the PBS movies, and I was a little curious to see what Disney would come up with. Boy was I suprised. They acutally stuck to the book for the most part, except for a few minor things here and there, it was very very book canon. I loved it of course, these stories were apart of my childhood, and I am soo glad to see it on the big screen. This movie restored my faith in Disney which usually butchers whatever cannon beyond recongintion, although lately theyve done a much better job. I encourage everyone to go see this movie, its a wonderful film with beautiful images, and a great message. Now I wont spoil it for those of you who havent seen it yet, but theres one scene which is my favorite of the whole film, all I will say is that it involves Alsan and the White Witch, that one scene encompasses the whole film and what it was truly all about. I give this movie four er make that five stars..Definatly oscar material.. |
